How it all started
The EBNI grew from a need for business networking and training for the Equestrian industry.
Founded by Tara Lane of Centrepiece Rosettes, who has extensive experience working in the bloodstock industry having worked with Weatherbys Ireland, Juddmonte and Goffs along with founding and running successful businesses. Tara has also worked in the County Kildare Chamber of Commerce and was the 2020 President of Network Ireland Kildare Branch.
She recognised the need for a business network to bring small and medium sized equestrian businesses together to support and promote each other while building a community of equestrian business owners. Being in business by yourself can be lonely and the EBNI provides support, promotion and links to peers and experts in all aspects of running a business.
EBNI members are highly recommended and trusted in their fields. From Accountants to Vets you can be sure that you will be getting the best your money can buy. As a member of the EBNI you get to know your fellow members, learn about their businesses and build up a network of skilled support that can help you grow and run your business.
Monthly Training and Events
EBNI also offers monthly workshops where you can learn lots more to run your equestrian empire. These workshops are led by our members or leaders of public organisations such as Local Enterprise Offices. Giving you tips, tricks and insights in how to get the most out of your business, topics include Social Media, Goal Setting, Business Skills and much more. These events are free to members and there is a small cover charge for non-members.
Annual Equestrian Business Directory
Closing Date 31 Oct 2021 for 2022 Directory
Our Equestrian Business Directory offers a comprehensive list of adverts from various equestrian businesses that supply the horse owners with all the services and products for their yard. As a Gold or Silver member of the EBNI, your business will be featured amongst the list of trusted, skilled professionals.
The directory is in a handy A5 size, suitable for leaving by your desk or digital form for constant access and is a go-to source of trusted suppliers for any yard. Being featured in the directory ensures that your details are constantly available to current and potential customers and raises your business profile. Each member gets a quota to hand out to their customers so when Tara sends rosettes to a riding centre or show secretary, your details are being handed out to a completely new market, likewise you would hand out your directories to customers and therefore we are all cross promoting each other, the power of the business network.
